Another Round, Another Rally

Another Round Another Rally is a nonprofit financial and educational resource for the hospitality industry. They provide reimbursement grants and immersive educational scholarships to further the education of historically excluded voices in the community, and supply emergency assistance to those employed in restaurants, bars, and hotels who have fallen on unexpected hardship.

Focus on Health

Focus on Health serves up wellness with a side of hospitality flair. Born amidst the chaos of COVID-19, they’ve crafted a haven for those in the food and beverage industry, because they know that taking care of others starts with taking care of yourself. At Focus on Health, the mission is clear: to enrich the lives of those who dedicate themselves to taking care of others. Whether you’re a bartender, a server, a chef, or anyone in between, they’re here to support you on your journey to a healthier, happier you.

Safe Bars

Safe Bars was founded by Lauren R. Taylor in 2013 out of a dire need for greater safety in the hospitality industry. With her lifelong experience in empowerment self-defense and bystander education, she worked with bartenders, servers, and others to create a way to stop sexual violence in alcohol-serving spaces. Thus Safe Bars was born with a clear mission: to create safe, equitable, and inclusive hospitality spaces. They’ve grown from training staff at DC bars to training teams and establishments nationally and internationally. Their curriculum has expanded to include bystander intervention, de-escalation, and allyship training. They are the leader in gender-based violence prevention for the hospitality industry, and their goal is to reach more people, more venues, and more communities to end sexual violence and create safe, welcoming, and inclusive alcohol-serving establishments.

Ben’s Friends

Ben’s Friends is a community of chefs, bartenders, line cooks, servers, sommeliers, host and hostesses, GMs and owners who have found or are seeking sobriety. Their mission is to offer community, hope, and a path forward for those struggling with substance abuse and addiction. At their core, they are hospitality workers who have found connection, and the tools to seek and maintain sobriety while managing their careers and lives in a sane and purposeful way.

Meetings will be held, 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m., Monday, July 22 and Tuesday, July 23  in the Carondelet room in The Ritz-Carlton, New Orleans.
