Whether you are a brand, bar, hospitality group, or individual, registering events on the Tales of the Cocktail schedule supports the Foundation’s year-round efforts to educate, advance, and support the global hospitality industry. 

Registering events with the Foundation allows us to work closely with and comply with the City of New Orleans, the Louisiana Alcohol and Tobacco Commission, and New Orleans Police Department’s safety regulations and permitting requirements. Our goal is to keep our community as safe as possible while in New Orleans, and a few of the ways we do so include a 24-hour hotline, requiring all registered attendees to sign and acknowledge our Code of Conduct, and submitting a full list of official events to the City. By registering events, you are supporting the entire bartending community and ensuring the sustainability of the Foundation’s initiatives.

Unsanctioned Events are defined as any events that are NOT registered and therefore NOT included on the official TOTC Agenda. Inclusion on the TOTC agenda is contingent upon a financial contribution to the Foundation, based on pricing set forth by Tales of the Cocktail Foundation.

Should you be found to be participating or hosting an Unsanctioned Event, the Foundation’s Board of Directors reserves the right to withdraw some (but not limited to) or any of the following. Please note that this policy also extends, but is not limited to employees, business associates, and affiliated entities and can apply to the current year and/or the year immediately following.

• Eligibility to sit on committees (Philanthropy & Development, Education, Spirited Awards, Tales Catalyst, and any future committees TOTCF may form)
• Eligibility to moderate or sit on any panels for TOTCF seminars
• Eligibility to be considered for a Spirited Award or be acknowledged as a Tales Catalyst
• Eligibility to be considered for grants or scholarships
• Ability to host future events with the Foundation
