813 Bienville Street
New Orleans, LA

The Sazerac is, without doubt, the largest diamond amid the crown jewels of New Orleans cocktails. This lean, rye-forward drink has antecedents dating to the mid-19th century and became a sensation around 1900. Arnaud’s French 75 Bar with its mahogany back bar and white-coated bartenders is the ideal destination to savor the drink’s sophistication. Pro tip: After a drink or two, ask for directions to the upstairs museum.
