Tales of the Cocktail Foundation Announces ‘Absolut Heat Streak’ Competition in Partnership with ABSOLUT®

Tales of the Cocktail Foundation today announces the launch of ABSOLUT HEAT STREAK, a high-energy, creative service-driven bartender competition in partnership with ABSOLUT® VODKA. Created to celebrate the artistry of bartending and the bold flavor of ABSOLUT® x TABASCO™, Tales of the Cocktail Foundation’s ABSOLUT HEAT STREAK will put hundreds of bartenders nationwide to the test. In a high-energy, brunch-inspired showdown, competitors will race against the clock to craft spicy, flavor-forward cocktails in front of peers, trade attendees, and industry judges — blending speed, creativity, showmanship, and responsible hospitality in every round.

Developed in collaboration with key industry leaders, ABSOLUT HEAT STREAK is rooted in the real-life experience of working behind a busy bar, bringing bartenders into a simulated “4-top” service scenario where they draw a randomized ticket and race to execute a full round of ABSOLUT® TABASCO™ cocktails. Each round is anchored by a Bloody Mary, alongside additional spicy serves such as the Spicy Vodkarita, Dirty Spicy Martini, Spicy Lemonade, and Spicy Mule, showcasing how ABSOLUT® TABASCO™ can bring bold flavor and heat to a wide range of real-world bar menus.

ABSOLUT HEAT STREAK is a nationwide bartender competition spanning more than 45 planned events and expected to engage 700+ bartenders across the U.S. Bartender registration is open now, with local competitions taking place throughout June and July.

Winners from each local event will earn an unforgettable trip to New Orleans and Avery Island, the legendary home of TABASCO® Brand. Surrounded by the rich flavors, music, and culture of Louisiana, winners will experience where the iconic pepper sauce was born – from immersive tastings and behind-the-scenes discoveries to the vibrant culinary traditions that define the region.
