Reflections from 2024 Tales Catalyst Keyatta Mincey-Parker

Being named the U.S. Tales of the Cocktail Catalyst Award Honoree is a moment I will treasure forever. It’s more than an accolade—it’s an acknowledgment of my journey, my work, and my voice in an industry I hold dear. Reflecting on this, I feel deeply humbled, grateful, and overjoyed.

This award reminds me of the importance of storytelling and staying true to who you are. Over the years, I’ve poured my heart into creating experiences—whether through cocktails, building community, or sharing my journey. Being recognized in this way reinforces that everyone’s story matters and that sharing yours can make a difference.

What truly makes this honor special is the support and love I’ve received from my city. To hear Atlanta cheer me on, to feel its pride, and to know that the people who have been with me every step of the way are celebrating alongside me has been incredible. Atlanta’s culture, energy, and people are the backbone of my creativity, and this moment belongs to all of us. This platform gives me the chance to continue advocating for equity, sustainability, and representation in our industry. It’s an opportunity to lift others, to spark change, and to ensure that the path I’m walking is one others can follow. I take on this responsibility with gratitude and determination.

To be recognized as a Catalyst is to understand that this isn’t just about me; it’s about the ripple effect we can create together. This honor inspires me to keep creating, keep pushing, and keep supporting others in their journeys.

I’m deeply thankful to everyone who has supported and believed in me. This moment is a celebration we share, and I hope it serves as a reminder to anyone dreaming big: your voice and your story matter.

I will carry this moment with me always, not just as a milestone but as a source of inspiration for what’s possible. Here’s to continuing to create, inspire, and build together.

Thank you for seeing me,
Keyatta
