This year, Expedition Cocktail will be traversing the United States – stopping in Austin, TX, Philadelphia, PA, Chicago, IL, and San Francisco, CA – bringing its unique blend of education and entertainment to bartenders and enthusiasts alike. Enticing participants to show off their bartending skills, one winner from each Expedition Cocktail event will be selected to join the sponsored immersion trip to Hendrick’s Gin Palace and London Cocktail Week in October 2024.

Each Expedition Cocktail event offers an immersive experience including:
- Interactive cocktail classes led by esteemed trade partners and leading mixologists
- Quirky competitions and activities in liquid experimentation
- Four featured cocktails served throughout the experience
- Complimentary lunch served to fuel exploration
Expedition Cocktail is not an average cocktail academy; it’s a progressive educational journey where trade members embark on a fanciful cocktail and ingredient adventure. With a shake-up of every expectation, participants will gain points in multiple activities in hopes of winning a sponsored trip to the Gin Palace, Hendrick’s Gin Distillery in Ayrshire, Scotland, and London Cocktail Week. One winner will be selected per Expedition Cocktail event (totaling four winners) to journey on the group-trip in October 2024.
Hendrick’s Gin National Ambassador Vance Henderson, along with regional hosts, including Liz Pearce (Central Ambassador) and Erik Andersson (Eastern Ambassador), plus influential trade partners: Paul Taylor (Your Only Friend), Shannon Mustipher (Tiki: Modern Tropical Cocktails), Meaghan Dorman (Raines Law Room and Dear Irving), Jason Asher (Barter & Shake/Century Grand), Charles Joly (Crafthouse Cocktails), and Lauren Paylor O’Brien (LP Drinks Co.) will guide participants through each Expedition Cocktail event. Please note that each event will host a selection of the above mentioned hosts and trade partners while Host Vance Henderson will attend all four events in the series.
