Inside Spain's Incredible Vermouth Museum
Reus, Spain is known as the cradle of Spanish vermouth, once home to more than 30 individual vermouth producers. In 2014, it added another cultural jewel to its crown: the Museu del Vermut, the world's only museum dedicated entirely to the history and cultural legacy of vermouth. With thousands of artifacts and bottles on display (and on tap), the Museu is a fascinating tribute to vermouth's rich history and diversity. "For those of us who appreciate vermouth, it is like a Mecca," says Eric Seed of Haus Alpenz.
